# Enhanced Demo Data Generation System

## Overview

This document describes the enhanced demo data generation system implemented for PUQCloud hosting platform. The system provides comprehensive tools for generating realistic demo data including products, clients, and product groups with proper relationships, pricing, and multi-language support.

## Key Features

### ✨ Main Improvements

- **Comprehensive Product Generation**: Create realistic hosting products (VPS, Hosting, Storage, etc.) with proper attributes and options
- **Advanced Client Generation**: Generate unique clients with realistic contact data and billing information  
- **Product Groups & Attributes**: Organized product categories with CPU, Memory, Storage, Network, Security, and Backup attributes
- **Pricing System**: Multi-period pricing (monthly, quarterly, annually) with setup fees and options pricing
- **Multi-language Support**: Automatic translations for all generated content
- **Unique Data Generation**: Ensures no duplicate emails, company names, or tax IDs
- **Performance Optimized**: Batch processing for large datasets with chunk-based creation

### 🚀 New Commands

#### Primary Command: `puqcloud:demo_seed`

Enhanced command with flexible options for generating different types of demo data:

# Generate clients only  
php artisan puqcloud:demo_seed --clients=500

# Generate product groups only
php artisan puqcloud:demo_seed --products_group=5

# Combined generation (recommended)

```

**Parameters:**
- `--products=N`: Number of products to create (0-10000)
- `--clients=N`: Number of clients to create (0-50000)  
- `--products_group=N`: Number of product groups to create (0-50)

## Generated Data Structure

- **VPS**: Virtual Private Servers

Six main attribute groups with realistic values:

#### CPU Attributes
- Frequency (3.2 GHz)
- Cores (4)
- Type (Intel Xeon)

#### Memory Attributes  
- Size (16 GB)
- Type (DDR4)

#### Storage Attributes
- Type (NVMe SSD)
- Capacity (512 GB)

#### Network Attributes
- Bandwidth (1 Gbps)
- IPv4 (1 included)

#### Security Attributes
- DDoS Protection (Enabled)

#### Backup Attributes
- Frequency (Daily)

### ⚙️ Product Options

Eight option groups with configurable values:

- **RAM**: 1GiB, 2GiB, 3GiB (with pricing)
- **CPU**: 1 Core, 2 Cores, 3 Cores (with pricing)
- **Disk**: 20GB SSD, 40GB SSD, 60GB SSD (with pricing)
- **OS**: Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, CentOS 9 (free)
- **Location**: Frankfurt, Warsaw, Toronto (free)
- **GPU**: 1 vGPU, 2 vGPU, 3 vGPU (with pricing)
- **Firewall**: Levels 1-3 (with pricing)
- **Backup**: Daily snapshots 1-3 (with pricing)

### 👥 Client Data

Realistic client profiles with:

- **Personal Information**: Unique names, emails, phone numbers
- **Company Details**: Industry-specific company names, tax IDs
- **Billing Information**: Currency preferences, credit limits
- **Address Data**: Complete addresses with country/region data
- **User Accounts**: Linked user accounts with proper authentication
- **Multi-language**: Support for EN, RU, DE, FR, ES languages

### 💰 Pricing Structure

Comprehensive pricing system:

- **Product Pricing**: Base prices for different periods (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- **Setup Fees**: One-time setup costs
- **Option Pricing**: Additional costs for upgrades (RAM, CPU, etc.)
- **Currency Support**: Default currency with proper formatting

## Technical Implementation

Updated existing models with improved relationships and data handling:

- `app/Models/Product.php` - Enhanced product model with attribute/option relationships
- `app/Models/ProductAttribute.php` - Improved attribute handling

All generated data includes automatic translations:

- Product names and descriptions
- Option group labels
- Option values and descriptions  
- Attribute names and values
- Multi-language content generation

## Security Considerations

- All demo passwords use secure hashing (bcrypt)
- Email addresses are unique and realistic but not real
- Tax IDs are generated but not real identifiers
- All demo data is clearly marked as demonstration content
- No real customer data is used or exposed

## Future Enhancements

Planned improvements for the demo data system:
